The Netball Central Zone umpire selectors have confirmed the umpires selected for both Zone umpire squads for 2023. The Advanced Squad continues its strong focus of preparing umpires for NZ Opens, NZSS, Watchlist and National Squad selection. The squad is made up of 7 talented umpires who have demonstrated their ability at NNZ events in 2022.

Our developing squad has evolved into an U18 Squad which extends the reach of the programme. The purpose of the squad is to prepare the umpires to perform well at U18’s, and to grow an awareness of what is required from a performance umpire.
