The following players have been selected as part of the wider Central Manawa squad for 2023.

Returning to the squad after a two year break is Madison Thomas, former MANUKURA student and New Zealand Secondary School player. 

Another returnee to the squad is Atareta McCausland-Durie who was part of the 2022 championship team. Atareta is based in Wellington, however represented Manawatu Green at Open Championships in 2022.

Tahlia Runga is back in the mix of players selected to be a part of the wider squad.

And an exciting opportunity for two new recruits, Chantelle Smith, former MANUKURA student as well as Tyra-Jade Alexander who plays for Massey A1. 

Exciting opportunity to see the following players in this space, with Assistant Coach Renee Matoe supporting the small contigent of Manawatu players.
